Ah, that explains it ... sorry - I saw that access.db bit but
misunderstood what it was telling me to do.

It is in fact inbound mail that will be relayed. I am sending from one
in house server to my sendmail server which is why I want to disable
functionality of milter-ahead

However, it does seem to take quite a while to check the remote user (30
seconds+) is this usual
