After visiting the machine, the problem appears to be mismatched headers
and libraries between BDB 3 and BDB 4. The problem in this instance is
solved by editing aclocal.m4.

	cd com/snert/src/lib
	vi aclocal.m4

Comment out the if/fi lines for:

	if test "$d" != '/usr' ; then
		CFLAGS="-I $BDB_I_DIR $CFLAGS"
		LDFLAGS="-L $BDB_L_DIR $LDFLAGS"
	fi

So that it looks like:

dnl	if test "$d/include/$v" != '/usr/include/.' ; then
		CFLAGS="-I $BDB_I_DIR $CFLAGS"
		LDFLAGS="-L $BDB_L_DIR $LDFLAGS"
dnl	fi

Save and quiet, then:

	autoconf
	./configure

In the summary you should see in CFLAGS

	-I /usr/include/db4

And in libs

	 -ldb-4.2

for your system (others might vary).

	make clean build
	cd ../milter-length
	./configure
	make clean build
	sudo make install
