Well then the above "Please try again later" log message is NOT from
milter-bcc. It thus must be from clamav-milter. I suggest contacting the
milter author.

Some quick things to check for:

a) Is clamd still running? I find it dies on my server from time to
time, typically after a freshclam update (or not).

b) Is ClamAV suite current? I noticed that if ClamAV suite gets out of
sync with the virus database format, then problems occur which may or
may not kill clamd.

c) In your INPUT_MAIL_FILTER() macros for either milter-bcc or
clamav-milter in sendmail.mc file are you using the F=T value? If so
remove it.

I'd say your problem lies with clamav-milter and/or clamd in some way.
Contact the author for support, clamav-milter is NOT one of mine. I have
been considering creating my own milter-clamav (currently I use
milter-cli, and my clamstream program).

4.3.2 Please try again later

Again the error appears after clamav-milter implying that it came from
clamav-milter and not milter-bcc.
